STEP 3 - GET COMMUTING
I have located myself (with the grace of my sis and bro in law) at Cottesloe (really roughing it over here) and after some interrogations - found the bike track that runs alongside the railway line from Freemantle to the City. Ill just zoom newcomers into the right part of Aussie...
So here are the main commute tracks below
One goes to HQ Central at St Georges Terrace and the other to the Belmont Office.
This is a great track - twists and turns, up and downs, good corners, smooth surface and good views all the way in. A most pleasant experience that gets one into town in about 30 minutes - which is about 12 kilometers. The Belmont trip adds another 30 minutes each way.
The Gordonson, with its steel frame, 32 spoke steel wheels , and 27 inch tyres (about a size 35 normal 700 tyre [as opposed to a 23]) just glides over these surfaces - so route and machine are well matched.
